The Restrooms are Finished

It took more than one year, hundreds of hours of volunteer manpower, plenty of sweat and aggravation, but it is finally done!  The new restrooms are finished!

Guest who attended the recent chicken barbecue were thrilled and delighted to discover that the port-a-johns have finally been retired.

The Club owes a huge debt of gratitude to Sal Pinzone who oversaw the entire project.  He coordinated the contractors, directed dozens of volunteers and spent countless hours of his own time working on the building.  Sal said, "There are so many people who helped that I can not mention names because I am afraid that I would forget some one."

Sal continued, "The idea of the restroom was first introduced at a Club meeting in 2010.  Every member who bought or sold a gun raffle ticket needs to be thanked.  Every member who helped with the initial proposal and design plans needs to be thanked.  Every member who helped install the septic system needs to be thanked.  And, every member who attended a workday or lent a hand in the construction needs to be thanked.  I am very proud of the work that was done and I hope that the members are pleased with the results."

Modest members are just one more thing that makes the Club great!
